The picturesque mountain known as Mt. Timpanogos gives the Sundance ski resort one of the most spectacular views to be found in the Wasatch National Park. Only a relatively small ski resort of 450 skiable acres, the resort is surrounded by some 5,000 acres of protected wilderness. Founded by Robert Redford in 1969, Sundance retains a western style while observing the beautiful balance of nature, recreation and the arts.
